The Back Room
Suggested 40 guests
Cozy and candlelit, our most-booked room. Own bar, own bartender, a door you can close.
A room that's only yours, for the night you tell everybody at once.

The night you tell everybody
Not a roped-off section, not a shared floor. A room of your own, its own bar and its own bartender, so the toast lands in front of your people instead of competing with a bachelor party at the next table. We can run three parties at once, each in its own room with its own bar.
Outside cake and catering are free, the slideshow goes on the projector, the playlist is yours. What you pay for is what your guests drink — there's no rental fee, no booking fee, and the deposit comes back after the night.
77 East 7th, between First and Second, a short walk from the 6, the L and the F. Which matters more than it sounds when you've got family coming in from three boroughs and a couple of people flying in.

Questions
Three of them, holding about 40, 50 and 60. Each one has its own bar and its own bartender, and the Back Room and the Whiskey Cellar close off behind a door — so the toast happens in front of your people and nobody else's.
No. We can run up to three separate parties on a night, but they're in three separate rooms, each with its own bar and bartender. The Back Room and the Whiskey Cellar close off completely; the B Lounge is the main-floor room, so guests of the other rooms pass through it on their way in. As engagement party venues in NYC go, that's the whole difference — and it's the same story at most engagement party venues in New York, where private means a curtain.
Yes, and it's free — no cakeage fee, no catering fee. The slideshow goes on the projector and your playlist runs through the room's own sound system.
No rental fee and no booking fee. You hit a bar minimum for the session: $700 Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday, and from $500 Friday and Saturday depending on the room and the session. The deposit comes back to you after the night.
The Back Room suits around 40 and stays warm and close. The Whiskey Cellar takes about 50 and its brick vaults are what ends up on everyone's phone. The B Lounge holds 60 with room to move. Send the date and the headcount and we'll tell you which one fits.
